We Are In Kenya

Dear saints,

Thank you so very much for your prayers. We made it safely to Kenya. The Lord answered and blessed us beyond measure. Praise God the flights and customs were so smooth, that at some point I had to ask Pastor Rick, "If he feels like this is a missions trip, and not a vacation?" :)
The Lord's hand was very evident in and through our long journey. During our flights, we were well fed and hydrated. The Lord also sovereignly placed specific people to sit next to us, and we had the privilege and opportunity to share about Christ as the only Savior and point people to the sufficiency of God's Word. Please pray for Lian, she is from Amsterdam, a mother who doesn't think that she needs Christ. The Lord gave me grace to talk with her about the Holiness of God and the need for our Savior. Also please pray for Terry, so that the Lord would save him. Pastor Rick was able to clearly present the power of God Word to change live - Bibliology 101 in a nugget form, and point him to the sanctifying work of the Word of God and Christ.

OUR JOURNEY TO KENYA:
We departed from Sacramento at 10:20AM and arrived to Los Angeles at 12:00PM.
We departed from Los Angeles at 1:50PM and arrived to Amsterdam at 9:00AM (Friday morning local).
We departed from Amsterdam at 10:20AM and arrived to Nairobi at 8:25PM (Friday night local).

On our arrival, we were very excited to see Pastor Situma. He traveled from Eldoret just to meet us. After getting to a hotel and settling in, we went to sleep around 12:40AM. Quickly we got up at 4:00AM in order to eat a quick breakfast and head back to the airport.
Please continue to pray for strength, as we travel to Eldoret this morning.

The weather in Kenya is nice and warm, especially when comparing to the freezing temperatures of Amsterdam.

Thank you, once again for your prayers. Tomorrow we look forward to worshiping with the saints at Grace Life Ministries as well as meeting with the dignitaries and officials of the Kenya Ministry of Education and Eldoret city officials where Pastor Rick will be able to speak on the subject of the "Purity of God's Word."

By grace
Paul & Rick
