The Day of Transition

Good news, the Lord has brought us safely to our destination. As we were flying into Eldoret, we marveled at God's handiwork in the beautiful African Safari.

Again, it was great to have Pastor Situma with us, we enjoyed our fellowship together.

Welcome to Eldoret!!! Or as they say it in Swahili, "Karibu el doret!"
This is the way we came out of the plane.

Driving through Eldoret we saw their poverty level and many broken homes. May God help us to never complain!

When we got to our hotel, we took long naps and then went to see their Church and the place where we will be serving.

I also had a great time practicing for tomorrow's morning worship service. Please pray for us to worship and serve the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Pray for Pastor Rick as he will be preaching Christ.

We finished our day by eating a late supper at the house of Pastor Situma. Sarah cooked mashed bananas, baked sweet potato, ground beef, mixed veggies of corn, carrots, onion, and peas. We also met one of the area's leading teachers, Dr. Moses Zebedayo. We also spend some time with Situma's family.

This little guy is Dwight and so Goodnight! :)
