Dear Church of God,
Well today is the last day of teaching here at Grace Life
Bible College. We started our class with singing some songs and then I taught
on the last chapter from the Sola
Scriptura book. The topic was: “The Transforming power of Scripture.” We
discussed how the Bible is powerful and active. As D. L. Moody said: “The Scriptures
were not given for our information, but our transformation.” We talked about
the sin of neglecting the Word of God. We must be men who treasure the Word of God
and ultimately worship the God of the Bible.
Today, Pastor Rick covered the issue of the Transmission and
Translation of the Bible. The discussion involved the different translations
and versions of the Scriptures in English. The details that were given provided
them men an awareness of the care that went into the provision of the
Scriptures in English.
Here are the men taking their final exam. Praise the Lord, they did a great job!
Tonight, we had dinner with pastor Situma and his family.
Please pray as we start our journey home tomorrow morning at 4:00AM.
